Arthon was awarded the contract in November 2006 comprising Rock Blasting on the North Side of the Highway from approximately km 74.180 to km 74.4, loading and hauling of Rock to the South side of the highway, constructing and shaping of stockpile between km 74.230 to 74.320, and winter maintenance from km 73.7 to 74.9.
Arthon was awarded the $9.9MM second contract in June 2006 to finish rough grading and rock removal, to lay gravels, and to pave a major portion
of the new twinned highway for 6 km. This highway will remain 2 lanes until further work in 2007 to complete.
Arthon was awarded the $6.9MM contract to complete roughly 10 km of rough grading and rock removal commencing
just south of Lake Louise, Alberta. This project includes the drilling, blasting, and hauling of over
60,000 m3++ of rock. A further 250,000+ m3 of earth requires removal and placement in specific fill areas.
