Two lanes of traffic are open ... please use caution as rock from the slopes above
may be encountered on the road. .... it is the continuing nature of the site and this occurs in a number of areas -
not only in the vicinity of the Rock Slip. Our crews continue to make this road as safe as possible.

NOTE
North beach estates lies directly below an area where danger rock removals are being
undertaken from high up on the cliffs. As a precaution, the homes at the base of the hill
by the water, in North Beach Estates, are being evacuated during these operations.
We anticipate that this might take 2 to 3 weeks.

HIGHWAY 97 DAY TIME CLOSURES
Daytime DELAYS....
Please plan for Minor Delays up to 19 minutes long throughout the day - Monday through Friday only.
These delays will be much shorter but may occur at any time. Generally, we will try to have these at:
MONDAY THRU FRIDAY
8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 am
MONDAY THRU THURSDAY
Additional closure at 2:30 pm
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Minor delays may still be possible on weekends for Danger Rock Removals.
HIGHWAY 97 NIGHT TIME CLOSURES
There will be NO night Closures for the forseeable future.
